Thomas first developed his love for performance in high school drama, and to this day he remains passionate about drama education for young students.

Using his significant industry experience, Thomas creates and delivers workshops, masterclasses and extended artist-in-residence secondments for Primary and Secondary students. In 2018, this included a director-in-residence role at Brisbane Girls Grammar School, where Thomas directed a student production of Debra Oswald’s Stories in The Dark.

The workshops he provides can be offered as part of your core curriculum time, beyond school hours and to compliment your co-curricular drama or performing arts program. Thomas also offers special interest classes such as acting for screen, which allows students to engage with the equipment and processes required for screen tests. He also offers audition training for those keen to pursue performance opportunities beyond the school context.

Pricing

The hourly base rate for workshops in inner-city schools is $200 per hour. Longer contracts or ongoing commitments may attract a reduced hourly fee or a negotiated and mutually agreeable total cost. Prices and packages may vary depending on your specific requirements.

Feel free to reach out with any questions to contact.thomaslarkin@gmail.com.

Workshops are also offered for Performance Companies and Corporate clients.
